I put on my first pair of tap and ballet shoes when I was 2 and a half, even back then I could hardly wait for the next ‘show’ to be able to get on stage in my costume and perform for the audience. I loved it! Over the years I have taken classes at studios all over California. I became more serious about my dance through my high school years. I was on a competition team with an award winning Performing Arts Academy in California. It was then that I began assisting in classes. Our competition team mostly danced in Northern and Southern California. We returned from Chicago with Platinum’s, High Overall Scores and Best Entertainment Award. We moved to Arizona in the summer of ’08 as my college career began at NAU. I have been with The Dance Studio since then; dancing, competing, teaching, choreographing and enjoying every minute of it. Although life may take me down another path, dance will always be a part of it.
