Donna Casey/Owner

Donna Casey I began my dance career at the early age of 4  in Phoenix, AZ and continued with my passion through High School and College.

Performing with the Arizona Repertory Theatre in “Pippin” and “The King and I” helped my staging background. Since 1981, I became an accredited member of “Dance Masters of Arizona.” I started teaching when I was 16, and have worked at “Spisak Dance Academy” (6 years), “Betty Johnson School of Dance” (10 years) and in Albuquerque, NM at “Alwin’s School of Dance” (2 years).

Completing a dream of mine, I moved here to open my own studio over 15 years ago. I am continuing with the dream going on my 16th year in Prescott, AZ.

My “PASSION” for my craft is deep rooted in my soul. Many of my students have gone on to dance professionally in venues such as Disneyworld in Florida, to Five Star Shows in Las Vegas, New York, and all over the world. A few talented students have captured DMA titles in Arizona Regional competitions. Meri Morris “Miss Dance of Arizona” (1989), Anjuli Regnier “Petite Miss Dance of Arizona” (2000), and 11th place at the nationals in New Orleans, Piper Stockel “Petite Miss Dance of Arizona” (2001), and 3rd runner-up at the national competition in New York, and Lindsay Carter “Little Miss Dance of Arizona” (2003). Recently my Performing Arts Company, “RhythMotion” was selected to perform at Disneyland in California, March 2006. Lately in the Re-Grand Opening of the Historic Elk’s Theatre here in Prescott on July 24th, 2010, where selected dancers performed a vignette from the “Nutcracker” created by Mr. Needhammer.

“It’s not what I set out to do; it’s what I had to do. It’s not a business I thought I might try, it’s what I knew I would succeed in.”
Our community has been blessed with a studio that offers it all. from the once a week student to the pre-professional company “RhythMotion.” Additionally we provide Prescott and surrounding areas with special events such as Master classed & teachers from across the US, Northern Arizona Dance Conventions, Competition Benefits, Parades, performances at retirement homes, holiday shows, hospital shows, mall shows and much more.

Building healthy bodies, Strong minds and positive personalities, students learn the benefit of giving back to the community by giving themselves. Our motto is: Look at the rest but “Dance with the Best”

A smile is a wonderful gift.
