Nicole Romine-Ballet Mistress


Nicole Romine danced professionally for over 15 years. Classically trained at Walnut Hill School and the Joffrey in New York, she began her career dancing the role of Carlotta Grisi in Pas De Quatre at the Stuttgart Opera House in Germany and Balanchine’s Tarantella. She went on to tour the world, South America, Europe, Japan, working with many different companies and performing in many diverse productions. In the US, she is primarily known for her time at Paramount studios as a Solid Gold Dancer and as the lead female dancer for the last season of the original television series Fame at MGM.
She began her career as a director/choreographer while still dancing and created many original productions – for stage, television, and film. She has won international awards and her work has been seen on 5 continents. A PBS special she choreographed was nominated for an Emmy.
She has had the tremendous honor of working with such greats as Helgi Tomasson ( currently the Artistic Director for San Fransico Ballet ), Patricia Mcbride, Dick Van Dyke, Madonna, Frank Sinatra, to name a few.
She believes that life is a masterpiece in the making.
