The Dance Studio will open a second studio in Chino Valley in Fall 2012. We will be located inside the Body Language studio on corner of Hwy 89 and Road 2 North, 990 North Highway 89, Suite 1A, Chino, Valley, AZ 86323.

Fall Registration/Grand Opening for Chino Valley Dance Studio will be held on Fri & Sat July 27th & 28th 10am-2pm, come and join us for refreshments, balloons and sign up with the Tri Cities longest running Dance Studio for Fall; Classes Start Monday August 6th, 2012. Benefit Show for Monica Kaplan and Family

The Dance Studio’s “RhythMotion Performing Company” will help raise money for the Monica Kaplan Family to pay for their Medical Expenses from a Lung Transplant surgery for Monica. The Dance Studio loves to help and give back to the community.

SummerDance Camps 2012

The Dance Studio offers two amazing dance camps to keep the kids busy during the month of June 2012. Intermediate and Advanced dancers will just LOVE our one week camp with Todd Shanks. Todd is coming to us from New York City and he will be here Monday June 11th though Fri June 15th, 2012. His fast paced classes in Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary and Tech are fabulous and EVERYONE who claims to be a DANCER will want to attend. Miss Nicole Romine will also be here teaching the first class of each day BALLET!!! “America The Beautiful” 2012 Production

The annual end of year production will be hel this year at Ruth Street Theatre (Prescott High School Auditorium) on Friday JUne 8th and Saturday June 9th, 2012 at 6:00pm. Tickets will be sold at The Dance Studio during the entire month of May and at both shows at the door. Tickets are $15 a piece. Below is a recap of upcoming recital events:

Tuesday June 5th, 2012- Picture Day at The Dance Studio/ Times for each class will be posted at Studio

Thursday June 7th, 2012- Dress Rehearsal from 4pm till 8pm at Ruth Street Theatre. Mini & Primary classes rehearsal in costume will be from 4pm till 5pm all other classes will be from 5pm to 8pm. Please plan on your child staying the entire time to be able to watch all the other dancers in their costumes and numbers. During both shows the dancers will be required to sty in the dressing rooms for the entire production unless they only have numbers in first half or second half and then they may watch the other half that they are not involved in (in street clothes, no costume allowed in audience). Please come in Street clothes and change into your costume in the dressing rooms and change out of costumes to go home,,,,,protect your amazing costumes and shoes. I prefer no parents in the audience during dress rehearsal, unless you are there with a dancer that is age 8 yrs or below. Please drop off and pick up at 8pm.

Friday & Saturday June 8th & 9th, 2012- “America The Beautiful” recitals. Show starts at 6pm, doors to dressing room open up at 5pm and front doors open at 5:30pm. Please drop off your child in the back of the auditorium (not the front doors) and pick up after the show same location (do not wear costumes to and from the production). Walk around to front of auditorium to enter through front doors. Tickets will be sold whole month of May at The Dance Studio (1601 Iron Springs Rd) or at both shows for $15 per ticket. Mini and Primary classes may be picked up at Intermission to watch second half of show or to head home. Everyone else stays till end of production for our Grand Finale (all take an extra bow).

MTV TV Production “MADE”

MTV has been at The Dance Studio for the past 4 or 5 weeks filming an upcoming episode of the TV show entitled “MADE”. It has been such an amazing experience for myself, my staff and all of our students. Laura Crow will be presenting her solo peice in our annual holiday show on Dec 16th & 17th. Hope you all come out to support Laura in her journey in becoming a Modern dancer.

RhythMotion Performing Company Disneyland Show

The Dance Studio’s Performing Company entitled “RhythMotion” headed to Cali over Spring Break to perform at Disneyland and California Adventure Park. They performed two 30 minute shows.The group drove or flew over to Cali and we all meet at an beautiful pizza place for our Welcome Pizza Party together, after poolside at our host hotel the Sheraton Garden Plaza for a 30 minute rehearsal to perform for all the people at the pool right into jumping in the pool to cool off!!!!!! On Friday March 16th the group performed in California Adventure Park at Hollywood Backlot Stage and had a huge audience and did an amazing job! The whole group then proceeded to Ariel’s Grotto to have lunch with all the Princesses, we all had such a wonderful time and the memories that were made, oh my goodness!! The danced again on Sat March 17th in Disneyland at Carnation Plaza Stage……In the rain, no less. They were awesome and even Disney coordinator said “The show and dancers were amazing”., she also said “The way the show just all ran together with no stops was just perfect, and our group and directors with on top of every detail”. I was so very proud of all the dancers and they all had a Blast with family and frineds riding on all the rides at the two parks.

We ended the four days together with all our family and friends waiting for the dancers under the ToonTown bridge to cheer and yell for them as they approached the crowd. I cried as they had reach for a particular goal and all exceeded that goal and have come so very far in such a short amount of time ( 8 months time). This performance comapny has gone from a Beginning group to a high inter dance group with their Love, Dedication and passion for their LOVE OF DANCE. Like I always say “Set your mind to it and you can achieve it”…..”Through Love and concern from your teachers, directors, family and friends. �

New Ballet Mistress…Nicole Romine Starts Ballet classes on Nov 29th, 2011

The Dance Studio is so pleased to announce that Miss Nicole Romine will take over the TDS Ballet program on
Tuesday November 29th, 2011. She will offer Ballet classes on Tuesday 4:45-6:16 and pointe’ Tuesday 6:15-7:15 and Thursdays 6:45-8:15 for a Advanced Ballet and Variations Class from Nov 289th through Dec 21st, 2011.

Starting on January 2nd, 2011, Nicole will be teaching Monday Through Thursday for many different Ballet, Pointe’ and Variations Classes. See Second Semester..Jan, 2012 Tab under Information for Miss Nicole’s weekly schedule and financials.

We are so fortunate to have Miss Nicole running our amazing dance program….WELCOME MISS NICOLE

She is AWESOME!

All inter/advanced dancers from all over should take all of these classes.

Its $100 for all 6 classes or $20 hr class or $22 1 1/2 hr class.
