RhythMotion Performing Company from The Dance Studio competed with 33 dance studio’s, 630 numbers and over 1100 dancers at Celebrity Dance Competition. Our group won Gold and High Golds Awards!!!! They ROCKED!!!!!!! — at Mesa Arts Center

Recital Week:
MONDAY JUNE 3RD- PICTURE DAY- Prescott Studio 1601 iron Springs Rd- 9am-6pm (posted at both studios and handed out during costume/Info week May 20-25th , 2013)
THURSDAY JUNE 6TH- DRESS REHEARSAL- Please plan on bringing your dancer to Prescott High School Auditorium (Ruth Street Theatre) this day.

4:00pm-5:00pm-Mini Class(3-5 yrs) & Primary Class(6-8 yrs) will practice on stage in their

5:00pm-8:30pm-All Other Classes will practice their numbers On Stage in costume

FRIDAY & SATURDAY JUNE 7TH & 8TH-. “The IT Factor” Call for all dancers is 5pm, drop off in dressing room (come in back door by lower parking lot, drop off with stage Mom or in Dressing room, walk around to front of auditorium to enter .Doors open 5:30pm into auditorium.

TICKETS $15 ON SALE AT BOTH STUDIOS THE MONTH OF MAY AND AT BOTH SHOWS

Lets all work together to make this a WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE FOR THE CHILDREN AND ADULTS ALIKE. ONE BAD APPLE CAN RUINE THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE. Lets work together for the greater GOOD:)

The Week of May 20th through May 25th. Please plan to attend your dancers classes to receive their Recital Costumes and Information regarding Recital Week. Make sure ALL accounts are PAID IN FULL to receive your child’s Recital Costume. We are so looking forward to ONE AMAZING RECITAL:)

RhythMotion Performing Company Auditions/Sat June 1st, 2013

The Dance Studio offers dancers the option to Audition for our Pre-Professional RhythMotion Company. The auditions for the 2013/14 company year will take place on Saturday June 1st from 9am-12:30pm. We hope you would love to join our amazing team. The team travels to mainly completions in South Arizona but also does shoes for many Tri-City events. All the girls join together and become a family. They start training in August and end in early June. Someone of the girls even get to go on a cruise in mid-June to compete.

The R/M Performing Company Team is Dedicated and Amazing!!!! They love To PERFORM!

SAT JUNE 1ST, 2013:

MiniCompany Auditions- 9-10am: 6-8 yrs Ballet, Tap, Jazz Audition-Beginner/Inter

Inter Audition-10-11am: 9 yrs & up- Inter Dancers/All styles

Advanced Audition-11-12:30pm:12 yrs & up- Advanced dancers/All Styles

Pleaser make sure you and/or your guardian have come into Prescott Studio *The Dance Studio* to acquire all forms, have them signed and everything filled out before Audition Date (Sat June 1st) . As for any audition: Hair Securely off face and neck, proper dance attire, no gun and be respectful.

We so look forward to many NEW dancers trying out this year and hope you all MAKE IT!!!!

Mother/Daughter Tea & Fashion Show May 18th,2013

The Dance Studio’s first annual Mother/Daughter Tea will be held at The Dance Studio 1601 Iron Springs Rd in Prescott on Sat May 18th from 11am to 1pm. It is $40 per couple ($10 extra per daughter) includes a lite lunch, Mother/Daughter Photo, Iced and HOt tea and a Fashion show with Heart N Soul, Dee’s Dancewear & Lexi Lu dancewear.

This will be a memorable time for all and is open to anyone in Northern Arizona. We look forward to seeing all of you and spread the word so everyone can enjoy an amazing afternoon making memories with your daughter.

The Dance Studio-Prescott June Inter/Advanced Camp- JUNE 10TH-JUNE 14TH, 2013

Todd Shanks will be here again from New York (www.toddshanks.com) running our week long dance camp for all Inter/Adv dancers ages 10 years and up. This camp runS M-F 9am till 3:30.

June 10th- June 14th….All class are only $300 for the entire week. All are welcome and it is Mandatory for RhythMotion Performing company. Even if you do not dance on a permeant basis at TDS, come and join us for this AMAZING DANCE WEEK!!!

SUMMERDANCE CAMPS: JUNE 18TH-JULY 11TH ON TUES & THURS ONLY

The Dance Studio (TDS-Prescott) & The Dance Studio Too (TDST-Chino Valley)

PRE-REGISTERATION IS REQUIRED FOR THESE CAMPS BY : JUNE 4TH, 2013

MINICAMP- 3-5 YRS 9:00-10:00am- $98 for 8 lessons

PRIMARYCAMP-6-8 YRS 10:00-11:00AM-$98 for 8 lessons

BEG/INTERCAMP- 9 yrs & up 11:00am-3:00pm- $250 for 32 lessons in many different dance styles; Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop and Contemporary.

Holiday Show DVD’s

Just to let everyone know the holiday show DVD’s are finished. and are available at both studio locations. I know it has been a few months, but Mr Dan did an exceptional job and they have been well worth the wait.

The June 7th & 8th end of year production DVD will be done and ready when you all get back in August 2013 to start an NEW dance Year. Which again gives him June and July and a bit of Aug to get them ready. They are not just one camera shot from the front, he puts together many different angels so you can see your child up close and personal.

WELL WORTH THE WAIT….DAN’S VIDEO’S ARE SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!
