Elk’s Opera House Grand Opening 7/24/10
The Dance Studio has was asked, once again to provide entertainment for the grand re-opening The Elk’s Opera House. We were asked to do a 15 minute vinyette of the “Nutcracker”. The girls danced beautifully in a very small space. They were dancing not only to a sold out house but with the Phoenix Opera on stage with them. This was such an awesome experience to perorm in such a prestigious show. Andrew Needhammer, Ballet master at The Dance Studio and NAU Prepartory Dance School in Flagstaff, choreographed the piece that the audience raved about. Below are some of the pics we took before the shows and on the set. Once again TDS is continuing to add to the Prescott.
